“Remember yourself, always and everywhere”
G.I. Gurdjieff
I’m so glad you’re here.
I serve people and groups striving to create belonging and change – inside and out.
I’ve always been an explorer. Maybe you can relate?
My wandering nature has led me to visit and live in a variety of places across Canada, Central America, Europe and West Africa.
Adventures with Canada World Youth and Katimavik exposed me not only to the beauty, diversity and possibility of personal and social transformation, but those experiences also introduced me to facilitation.
My eyes were opened to other ways of seeing, being and acting in the world.
I went on to cultivate a way of learning and change that was experiential, participatory, and profound.
With exploration as a guiding principle, I’ve spent the last 25 years working as a professional facilitator with diverse groups, communities and organizations locally, nationally and internationally.
I love to create, hold, and be in spaces that allow for self-discovery, learning, self-determination, and transformation.
Whether working in Labrador with Sheshatshiu and Natuashish Innu First Nations communities or coaching community change-makers in PEI, I serve people and groups striving to create belonging and change – inside and out.
In 2018, I was exhausted from the pressures of being a solopreneur, facilitating large-scale projects, and wearing many hats. I knew it was time to make a change, but, as many of us do, I pushed through. Until a breast cancer diagnosis stopped me in my tracks.
Cancer was an abrupt and life-changing experience. It was time for me to listen more closely to my body, get grounded, and learn what it meant to truly take care of myself. I have since taken my time re-orienting, re-imagining, and re-claiming my own wholeness.
Ideally, it shouldn’t take a serious life event to remember yourself, always and everywhere. That’s why I’m so passionate about holding the light for others on their path.
Coaching allows me to be in service in the world while staying true to my own values and well being.
I live a grounded, engaged life in Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island, Canada), the unceded and traditional territory of the Mi'kmaq people, and I am grateful to call this place home.
I live with my husband and son on a beautiful 7-acre property on the Wheatley River where we grow and preserve food (garlic, fruit, veggies), steward a small woodlot, build, welcome folks, and aim to tread lightly on the earth, giving back in all our actions and honouring the land that we love.
Along with my degree in International Development Studies and my Integral Coaching Canada (ICC) training, I draw on many learning experiences:
Diploma in Adult Education, St. Francis Xavier University
